A Little more information about Kidino Kidz

Kidino Kidz offers loving care to young children from 12 months up to GR-R. The young child’s emotional well-being is our priority. When children are well adapted and feel secure, then they can easily excel in an environment away from home. We believe that children should experience learning through hands-on activities that is innovative and fun. Our daily program is designed around the needs of the young child and provides plenty of opportunity for exploration and self-discovery.

OUR CLASSES

Curios Dino's

This playroom caters for children from 12 – 24 months.

In this playroom, the young child’s needs are catered for with lots of love and attention. Our aim in this playroom is for children to form a special bond with their caregivers. Children in the Curios Dino’s playroom are stimulated throughout the day with age-appropriate activities and plenty of one to one interaction.

Toddler Dino's

This playroom is designed for children from 24 – 36 months.

Great opportunities for exploration are created to match this age group’s growing sense of independence. The children’s day in this playroom is filled with fun, learning through play activities. In this playroom, children are encouraged to explore the world around them with confidence. Emotional well-being is important for young learners and children to form strong bonds with the teachers.

Diplodocus Dino's

Children 36 – 48 month olds in this playroom continue to grow.

In this playroom, children are more aware of themselves as individuals and have a growing awareness and need to care and respect others. They are learning to express their feelings more clearly and form better bonds with friends. In this playroom, children have plenty of imaginary and creative play. They will continue to develop responsibility, independence and confidence through hands-on interactive play.

Triceratops Class

Playrooms are now classrooms for our 5 year olds.

In this age group, we get ready for GR-RR. The children continue to learn through play. Interactive hands-on activities are still very important. The children’s natural curiosity is satisfied by being exposed to interesting projects for example, space, first aid and many more subjects that young minds find interesting.

T-Rex Class

Our GR-R classroom offers the pre-school child the opportunity to learn all the skills required to enter the mainstream school system with confidence. We follow the CAPS curriculum and add learning opportunities to the curriculum to ensure that the learners develop a life long love for learning. The small classroom ensures that learners get one to one correspondence time with their teachers. We believe all children can be leaders and we create opportunities in and out of the classroom to practice these skills.
